Fair Island - Cannabis Soap
How will Fair Island soap keep my hands from drying out and cracking?
Most commercial antibacterial soaps contain chemicals and ingredients that will dry out your skin, eventually causing cracks in the skin and mild bleeding during a time of frequent hand-washing.
Our Lemon Myrtle and Tea Tree soap doesn’t contain those harmful ingredients – in fact, it counteracts the drying effect. This is because the oils we use are known for anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe or calm irritated skin.
What makes Fair Island soap antiseptic?
We’ve recently added Tea Tree Oil and Lemon Myrtle to our recipe to help keep nasty viruses at bay. Studies have shown that adding Tea Tree Oil or Lemon Myrtle to cleansers and soaps will boost their effectiveness.
Tea Tree Oil has been used as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent throughout history. Studies show that it kills several common bacteria and viruses responsible for causing illness – including E. coli, S. pneumoniae and H. influenzae.
